Akiyama is one of the teams Seigaku faced in the Kantou district tournament before facing St. Rudolph Gakuin. They were a weak team from the start, but under Mizuki's guidance, they were able to pinpoint each Seigaku player's weakness, thus, making the matches difficult for Seigaku. In the end, Seigaku still won 6-0 against them.
