Echizen Ryoma: Yanagi Koutarou Yanagi is a member of Watanabe Enterntainment's D-BOYS. He became extremely popular after it was announced that he will play Echizen Ryoma. He was probably chosen as Echizen because he is a little small for his age ^^ (only 165cm). His other projects include : Hice Cool, Chikan Otoko (I think he himself directed this), Rocket Boys and Aa~! Izakaya Pro-Wrestling (supporting role). He released an idol DVD as well as a photobook (YA-NA-GI). He has been known to like street dancing and karaoke, but both hobbies were halted due to his accident (see more of this in the ff. musicals). MY BIAS: When I found out that Yanagi will play Echizen, I immediately agreed that he's the perfect actor. I think he's very versatile. He can sing and dance really well. He immediately became one of my favorites among the characters when I watched the musical ^_^ <3 |

Tezuka Kunimitsu: Takigawa Eiji Takigawa Eiji started as a commercial model for an energy drink (I'm not sure, but I think it's Lipovitan?) in 2002. After that, he's been in many CMs before being hailed as the stern Tezuka Kunimitsu. He starred in another stageplay (the name eludes me) and has released a DVD called Treasure of Age (or Eiji) that was produced by Marvelous Entertainment). It was also surprising to know that he finished law from Kounan University at Kobe before he became a commercial icon. MY BIAS: Upon looking up the cast pictures for Tenimyu, I was like "OMGWTF Tezuka looks so sexy <3!" Let's just say TakiEiji is my driving force for watching Tenimyu since I wasn't interested in the musical at all before seeing him. ^^;;; I am also quite blind to his faults onstage (except now xDD). It's true that he cannot sing that well (going off-key often) and also cannot dance that well...but he certainly looks like Tezuka. LOL! Although his character is really quiet, he can sometimes make Myu!Tezuka look cute and funny. Also...his DVD was like...the smex XD. I mean...it's really pointless, but I can't help watching...*swoon* |

Fuji Syusuke: KIMERU Who doesn't know Kimeru? Tennis no Oujisama fans might know him as the one who sang You Got Game and Make You Free. Since he's already popular in Japan and outside, he made TeniMyu a very popular show. It's said that he's inspired by Hayao Miyazaki and Gackt (?). Having a powerful singing voice, good dancing skills, and sexy speaking voice (they say xD), he seems to be the perfect one as Fuji Syusuke. ^^ MY BIAS. Hmm...KIMERU was in my list when I listen to songs, since I've heard him in PoT as well as in Yu-Gi-Oh and he's really good. Trivia: His song from Yu-Gi-Oh, Feel My Soul, was given another rendition by Fuji Syusuke's seiyuu, Yuki Kaida and was released as Fuji's character single ^^;. He's okay as Fuji for me, but when I watched the later musicals, I changed my mind? ^^;;; He's not my favorite, but I don't dislike him either. Maybe it's because I really really love anime!Fuji so I am quite picky with who plays him. It's quite fun when Kime acts really ghei tho XD. Yay! Fanservice ^^;;; |

Inui Sadaharu: Aoyama Sota Aoyama Sota seems to be not in the limelight before he joined the cast as the dataman Inui Sadaharu. Most of his projects were after his participation in the Musical Prince of Tennis. I haven't really checked his background but it is said that he starts in the mini movie "Holyland" (2005), Ultraman Max (?) (2005) and Death Note (2006). I think in Ultraman he's the Ultraman in human form o_o; (Kaito). He's Touta Matsuda in Death Note Live Action. MY BIAS Hmm...I actually ignored Sota (sorry m(-_-)m) when I watched the first musical. My impression of him is that he's someone who doesn't really stand out (?). Then again, I changed my mind after watching the next musicals. He looks really fun ^^;; He and Kaidoh's actor Naoya sticks together a lot and we all know that Inui + Kaidoh = fun XDD. Also, he's taking the whole Inui juice situation seriously xD. I like how he presents the sentiments of Inui, having been in the background and cannot sing solos xDDD. It's like Inui with even more crack. In short, I love him ^^. |

Kaidoh Kaoru: Gomoto Naoya Nothing much is known about Gomoto Naoya (or it's just me ^^;). He's really jolly, but when he's Kaidoh Kaoru, he's really into it 8O. He even "fushuus" absently when in backstage. He's casted as a seiyuu in Eyeshield 21 (as Seijuurou Shin). MY BIAS Ah...we have now come to Nao-chan. He stirred me up when I first watched TeniMyu. I kept thinking "He's really a good Kaidoh Kaoru." Although he sometimes mess up his dialogues (he did forget his line sometime in the first musical ^^) and falls off the prop stage during his match (he fell off one of the platforms in his match with Echizen), he's still loved ^^. Trivia: The bangs under his bandana is really fake o_o;; as we will find out in one of his dialogues with Momoshiro in DL1 ^^ |

Momoshiro Takeshi: Moriyama Eiji Moriyama Eiji is a member of *pnish*, a group of stage actors, with Oishi's actor Tsuchiya. He's also a seiyuu in Prince of Tennis (Ibu Shinji) before he joined the TeniMyu Cast. He has not only been in Tenimyu but in other musicals as well such as One Piece and Bleach Rock Musical (as Abarai Renji). He's the perfect Momoshiro, in looks, singing, dialogues, and even movements ^^. MY BIAS MoriEiji is another one of my personal favorites in TeniMyu aside from TakiEiji. Although he says his name a lot of times when introducing himself (and that is quite annoying if he's not MoriEiji...), he really looks fun ^_^. He can dance, do cartwheels, sing (he is one of the better singing voices in TeniMyu ^^) and can talk like Momoshiro xD. It's amazing when you see him perform and then listen to him as Ibu Shinji. Really vast difference xDD. You can see him act as Ibu Shinji (and talk like him) in the Prince of Tennis Seiyuu event named Prince of Tennis Perfect Live. (I also do not want to mention but he looks better in Seigaku uniform than in Fudomine's...xDD). |

Oishi Syuichiroh: Tsuchiya Yuichi "Hi! Tuti desu~" is probably Tuti's (his nickname) slogan ^_^. He's a member of *pnish*, a group of stage actors, with Moriyama Eiji and has participated in a number of musicals. He's in Bleach Rock musical (as Ichimaru Gin) and in One Piece Musical. Although his hair looks like "it-must-have-been-hard-to-be-Oishi," he's the perfect Oishi in terms of dancing, attitude, and chemistry with Kikumaru ^_^ MY BIAS Hmm. I took Tuti's performance as Oishi as satisfactory. Aside from the fact that he was not in the limelight in the first musical, he has very few lines. After a while though, I realized that he's really hyper (noisy, actually) and funny ^^. He's very good in keeping the chemistry between Oishi and Kikumaru, although I must say that he's more in tune with Nagayama as Kikumaru than with Ichitarou (who was more inclined towards Fuji). But, hyper as he is, he brought out Oishi's character pretty well, and added crack to him. Who knew crack!Oishi could be more fun than crack!Tezuka >D. |

Kikumaru Eiji: Ichitarou Ichitarou, I think (please tell me if it's wrong) is not the actual actor for Kikumaru. It was supposed to be Nagayama (please see more of him in the ff musicals). But since Nagayan is busy, he took over. The run for TeniMyu1 was not finished by Ichitarou. Nagayan came to be Kikumaru for the other shows since Ichitarou is busy with taping for Water Boys. So, anyone who watched the first musical's DVD will see Ichitarou as Kikumaru, but those who watched it live in Tokyo and Osaka might have seen either him or Nagayan as Kikumaru. MY BIAS The reason why I thought that Ichitarou was not the original actor for Kikumaru was that when I checked TeniMyu's official site, Nagayama was in the cast list *pats Ichitarou*. He's a good Kikumaru, although he inclined to FujiEiji fanservice that GP. Since I'm biased towards Nagayan, I cannot say much, but he's not a bad one. He rolled and tumbled and smiled the way Kikumaru is supposed to be. ^_^ |

Kawamura Takashi: Yoshitsugu Abe I do not know much about Abe-san. I only know that he's a local stage actor ^^; He's in Les Miserables. In the run of TeniMyu 1, Abe became busy with Les Miserables so Morimoto Ryoji took over his role as Kawamura. I have no info on Morimoto RYoji atm. In the Tenimyu 1 DVD, Abe-san plays Kawamura. MY BIAS Abe is the man! I really love this guy as Kawamura. He's energetic, he's jolly, he's shy when he needs to...he's like Kawamura that crawled out of the TV (like Sadako? XD). |

Arai Masashi: Morikawa Jiro I have no info about this guy. But he has an official website ^^;; If you can read Japanese, then please look it up in my links page. MY BIAS I like this guy even if I don't know him. He's a pretty good Arai. ^^ He can dance, too, which is nice. His special number in the musical was really funny and amazing at the same time. ^^ |

Horio Satoshi: Ishibashi Yusuke I do not have any info on this guy. I just know that he's a good Horio minus the annoying noise ^^. Well, generally, the Ichinen trio are very important in the musicals since they tell the story and give most of the comic relief ^^ |

Mizuno Katsuo: Hotta Masaharu I don't know, but this guy always seem to be the butt of jokes. In backstage specials, everyone likes rubbing their hands on his head (maybe cos it's ticklish? o_o) and people always spoof him (ahem... KENN). ^^ He's really funny tho xDD. |

Katou Kachiro: Toyonaga Toshiyuki You may recognize this guy having small roles in movies like Battle Royale II and Densha Otoko Live Action. He is also a seiyuu, having voiced in Battle Royale TV and in Prince of Tennis OVA and Movie as Aoi Kentarou ^_^. Hmm... all I know is that he's very Kachiro-like. Like...cutey Kachiro-like... ^^; |
