Jyousei Shounan is a school that was not discussed in the manga. They replaced the original school in the manga, Midoriyama chuu, in the anime. In the manga Jyousei, was mentioned as one of the schools in the Kantou Tournament, but was not described intensively. In the anime, Jyousei Shounan is a school that has facilities rivaling those of Hyoutei. However, their training is different. Their coach, Hanamura Aoi, concentrates on developing their strengths through procedures involving science and experimentation. Hanamura-sensei calls the regulars her masterpieces, because they have perfected their skills through her various experiments and rigid trainings different from the norms.

Hanamura Aoi believes in "coordination tennis." With this theory, she brings out the best in the team by making them use the latest equipment and formulating exercise to improve the aspects they are good at. She is interested with Echizen Ryoma because of his skills and tries to persude him to join Jyousei Shounan. But Echizen is not interested in becoming her perfect masterpiece ^_^.

About Him:
Kajimoto Takahisa is the captain of the Jyousei tennis team. Their team believes in coordination tennis, meaning, maximizing their potentials through special training. He himself has the ability to bend himself backward with his head reaching almost to his feet :o. This stance is used to deliver super fast serves. He really has a resemblance to Tezuka ^_^

Shinjo Reiji is the coach's most trusted player in the team and Aoi calls him "the perfect masterpiece." He's really quiet, but he has a violent side ><. He has nothing in his mind but tennis, which makes him a dedicated (or almost obsessed o.o) player.

Not another orange-haired super active guy. ^^;; Wakato Hiroshi is the "cool" guy of Jyousei. He has a lot of fans. He's also a bit boastful of his techniques, which makes him a bit irritating. However later on we see that he is just like any player who spends time and energy perfecting his technique, even if his tennis mainly involves imitating other players.

Oota Shou. I can't say much about this guy. He's really small, smaller than Echizen, but has a big ego. His small frame, however, makes it easy for him to return balls by jumping on his partner's back or returning the ball from between his partner's feet.
